CinemaCon 2022 seems all set to open the gates with brand new promos, in particular, a Top Gun: Maverick Standee, The Expendables 4 banner, and digital posters of upcoming DC films like The Flash, Shazam 2 & more artworks on display. Sony Pictures will take the stage first on Monday, today, the opening night to unveil its upcoming releases.
Cinemacon 2022 is expected to kick things off with a lively panel from Sony discussing its Spider-Man universe. Fans are specifically hoping for a new look from Madame Web and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Both titles’ release dates were recently delayed. Furthermore, Kraven the Hunter is currently the next Marvel title in line for January 2023 so the studio could have more to offer from the Aaron Taylor-Johnson starring feature. Additionally, David Leitch’s Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt would be among the presentation since the potential blockbuster hits theatres on July 29, 2022.

A few promotional materials from Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures and Disney’s Marvel Studios set up at CinemaCon 2022 have surfaced. As aforementioned above, a Top Gun 2 standee featuring Tom Cruise in front and center and Jennifer Connelly, Miles Teller and others included as well. A larger-than-life pilot helmet is also showcased. Paramount Pictures will exclusively screen Top Gun: Maverick at CinemaCon 2022.

Universal’s upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion had a banner on display as well, revealing a new look at Bryce Dallas Howard’s Claire and a Dilophosaurus. Added, a horizontal banner showcasing Jordan Peele’s NOPE was also spotted.

Warner Bros. DC film’s panel for Tuesday, 26 April is anticipated to be the biggest takeaway, titled “THE BIG PICTURE”, a special presentation of its upcoming slate. A line of digital banners promoting Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Black Adam, Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, The Flash and DC’s League of Super-Pets are put on display. In fact, it was reported WB might reveal new footage from the Dwayne Johnson standalone feature and the speedster origin flick. However, with Ezra Miller’s embroiling controversy, some believe The Flash may be excluded.
