In a release by the CPSC, the company said that consumers should stop using the umbrellas and remove the solar panel puck containing a lithium-ion battery from the top of the umbrella.

It recommended storing the battery puck out of the sun and away from combustible material and to not attempt to charge the puck with the AC adapter.
