Doha: Hikvision has partnered with Ghamdan Qatar to launch their commercial display solutions at a ceremony which was attended by Chairman of Ghamdan Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad bin Khalid Al Thani, and other senior officials from Hikvision and Ghamdan at the Westin Doha Hotel recently.
Clients and system integrators in Qatar were invited for the event which featured a live demo of the latest in range display solutions available with Hikvision. Considering the upcoming football season and the requirement of big commercial displays, Hikvision and Ghamdan have launched the most in demand solutions.

Continuous growth in visual promotion, entertainment and communications drives the emergence of new technologies and solutions for displaying photo and video information on consumer devices and on large screens used by enterprises and public organisations. Many industries such as shopping centres, conference halls, hotels, transportation, stadiums and others use displays that make it possible to interact with a larger audience, and video displays also play a special role in smart city projects.
Among the current problems on the part of customers are: traditional screens have low level of contrast and brightness which affects image quality; and traditional screens are not able to broadcast a uniform image which affects the display of important information.

LED models for building outdoor video screens are protected from external influences and have a waterproof design - each module is protected from moisture by a special rubber gasket, and the screen interfaces are behind a waterproof protective cover. All this allows people to use Hikvision LED panels in wet coastal areas, in regions with high levels of humidity, as well as during rains and other weather conditions.
To deal with high temperatures in outdoor environments, several solutions are used: a die-cast aluminium case, a dual-fan design, and an air intake. With their help, excess heat is dissipated, heat transfer is improved and additional cooling is provided.
