Somebody needs to pay the bills in Inglewood.
During the Chargers-Cowboys game on Saturday, the LED screens weren’t working inside during the game. That is an issue for a stadium that cost $5 billion to build.
None of the LED screens work at the $5 billion SoFi Stadium for tonight’s Chargers-Cowboys game, including the 70,000 square foot video board, so fans don’t know the score, down and distance and can’t watch replays. pic.twitter.com/Vmxj03XmXg
SoFi Stadium’s scoreboard is 120 yards, weighs over 2 million pounds and has been called the “Eighth wonder of the world.” It is not working for tonight’s Cowboys-Chargers preseason game. pic.twitter.com/BwaiQv5QjC
The video board stretches 120 yards, weighs 2.2 million pounds, contains 70,000 square feet of digital LED, and houses 268 speakers.
SoFi Stadium released this statement, saying they experienced an outage with their ‘internal broadcast system.’
Shortly before kickoff, we experienced an outage with our internal broadcast system. We are resetting and expect all systems to be up and running shortly.
Hopefully this doesn’t happen during the regular season.
